Standard Service Explained:
To begin with, once we have logged your details, we’ll contact
you to let you know that your film has arrived safely and to confirm
your exact requirements. As we capture your material, where necessary,
we can adjust elements such as the saturation of colour (many older
films have faded a little), contrast and even sharpness.
This is especially important with older formats where contrast varies
hugely.
Next we’ll invariably customise your DVD by asking you what
image and text you’d like on the cover*. This will be the crowning
finishing touch that will make your disc beautiful. Finally, it is
all checked for purpose and quality before being approved for despatch.
As for payment, this is only on completion. * subject

Advanced Service Explained:
With our advanced service, if you're looking for us to convert vhs
to dvd to dvd in a superior way, further adjustments can be made to
reduce a number of errors which are common to older stretched tapes.
Examples include picture jittering, colour or tint errors or colour
bursts. As well as stabilising your video, we might also improve quality
using brightness, sharpness & contrast adjustment controls. These
alterations can make an enormous difference to the end result.
Next we’ll invariably customise your DVD by asking you what
image and text you’d like on the cover. This will be the crowning

DV AVI Files provide the highest quality version that we offer.
They are large files (roughly 15GB per Hr) that we supply on a portable
hard drive. Thereafer they can simply be imported into your editing
program. These files also allow a great deal of versatility in respect
of what you can with the video therefater (i.e adjusting light levels
etc). For those after a quality finish, the golden rule to edit in
a quality format initially (such as the DV AVI file) and then distil
to a more compressed format such as mpeg2 to make your dvd thereafter.
The original DV AVI files can then be kept as a master version for
your family archives. The portable hard drive itself can either be
supplied by us or yourself if you have one handy with lots of space.

In the hiarachy of video files, these are more compressed than avi
files and hence smaller in size. Here you simply load the videos files
onto your PC via our discs. Alternatively, for an additional cost,

an economical but highest quality solution which is simple to import
into your PC. You'll just need access to an everyday Mini DV camcorder
from which you can output your film to an AVI file. For those after

you might chose to play the entire DVD. |
