Print Photos
Back in the late 1820s, a French inventor named Joseph Nicephore Niepce took the first official photograph. Since then, photography has progressed and developed in more ways than one. Polaroids
In 1948 the polaroid hit the market and it was a tremendous hit because people could take photos and not have to wait to get their film developed. They’d get their photos almost instantly. Photo Types – Negatives
Negatives are those little brown strips of film that usually come with your developed prints. Those are where developed prints come from. For all you know you might have a box of negatives that haven’t been developed and if you do, who knows what kind of precious memories you’ll discover and unlock when you do get them developed. Negatives are considered amongst the most mysterious of photo types for this reason. Joseph Nicephore Niepce also invented negatives in the 1820s in an age where you could have scarcely imagined the different photo types that followed. Now, this technology has advanced so that you can digitise negatives.
Types of Photos – Slides
Slides (also known as transparencies) were introduced in the 1930s, – they were predominantly used in 35mm film cameras. They were also a big hit at academic facilities as they used 35mm slide projectors a lot. 35mm as a format was popularised by amateur photographers.
