Turn photos, negatives, and slides onto DVD, USB or digital

There’s something timeless about opening an old family photo album. The laughter, the hairstyles, the family holidays and special occasions — every picture tells a story frozen in time. Those photographs capture the people and moments that shaped your life, and they deserve to be seen, shared, and preserved forever.

But old prints and photo albums don’t last forever. Colours fade, edges tear, and negatives or slides can easily be damaged. That’s why digitizing old photos is one of the best ways to preserve your family memories and keep them safe for future generations.

At Supaphoto, we specialise in professional photo scanning and slide digitization services that bring your memories back to life. Whether you have photo albums, loose prints, or even 35 mm slides and negatives, our photo scanning service makes it easy to convert your photos to digital files you can store, share, and enjoy anywhere.

Our expert technicians use high-resolution photo scanning equipment to capture every detail with precision. Prints are scanned, producing beautiful high-quality photo scans perfect for archiving, reprinting, or viewing digitally. If you have slides, we scan them at 4000 DPI to preserve the incredible detail hidden in every frame. With careful handling and state-of-the-art technology, we ensure every scan looks sharp, vibrant, and true to the original.

Once digitised, your photos are easy to view on any device — computer, tablet, or phone — and simple to share online with family and friends. No more fading albums or dusty boxes in the loft. Just your favourite moments, preserved in high-resolution digital form, ready to relive whenever you wish.

Over the years, Supaphoto has helped thousands of families digitize old photos and convert 35 mm slides to digital, keeping priceless memories safe from time and damage. We don’t just scan photos — we protect stories, emotions, and family history.

Your past deserves more than to fade away in an old album. Let Supaphoto digitize your old photos and slides with care and precision. With our trusted photo scanning and slide digitization service, your memories aren’t just preserved — they’re beautifully reborn.

Finding old photos or slides in perfect condition is getting harder every year. Prints fade, negatives become scratched, and slides can lose their sharpness over time. The love and care that went into capturing those cherished moments was priceless — and now it’s just as important to protect them for the future. By using a professional photo scanning service to digitize old photos and convert slides to digital format, you can make sure every smile, detail, and memory is preserved before time takes its toll. High-resolution photo scanning keeps those moments vibrant and safe, allowing you to preserve your family memories for generations to come.

Photo Scanning Service

Do you have old albums full of photos that are looky tatty and never see the light of day?

Perhaps you’ve got little nuggets of gold just buried away up in the attic. We say that it’s time to unearth those photo prints, 35mm slides, and negatives and let us help you bring them back to life. We invite you to employ our high-resolution photo scanning service to convert your images into digital files. This way you’ll not only be able to preserve them but moreover share them with friends and family.

Over the years we have scanned a huge variety of photos from photo albums, scrapbooks, postcards, letters, envelopes and various memorabilia including tickets to concerts and sports events. When it comes to precious memories, we’ve seen it all.

Of course, we’ve inherited this love of photos from our parents and we instinctively look to continue the tradition of safeguarding these memories. As studio grade photo scanning technology has developed, rest assured that we have continued to invest heavily in equipment.

Print Scanning

There are also many issues to consider. An example would be storage and safe keeping.  Preservation is also an issue.

So why not rejuvenate your photos to life with our photo scanning service to a digital file on a memory stick for example. You’ll not only preserve your precious memories of family and friends but be able to share them too! You’ll be able to sit down and enjoy them at your leisure, safe in the knowledge that you have halted their slow deterioration in the process. They fade, tear, bend and generally wear down as time goes by you see.

Rest assured that Supaphoto personally looks and checks each photograph at the onset as part of its scanning service. Careful scanning and digitisation then follows in a structured and safety conscious way. Of course, the quality will be in line with the condition of your original material. We are a highly recommend UK service.

Looking For A Photo Scanning Service Near Me?

We consider ourselves easy to deal with and we’ll keep you posted throughout the entire process. We are known for our quick turnaround time and for providing you with a large number of digital photo frames options. We can output to an easy to play and share digital file. These can be sent to your via Supaphoto’s photo scanning cloud where images can easily be downloaded and shared with other members of your family. That box of black and white, original photos that no one ever looked at can then come to life.

You might also like to have them on a memory stick where all you need to do is insert into a laptop or computer before seeing them come to life in front of you one by one as a slideshow! You might even like to add your own commentary.

Over the years, we’ve accumulated countless positive reviews from happy clients and we hope you will be one more of them!

Old Photo Brands

Whatever brand your original photographs were – i.e Kodak, Fuji, Agfa, our focus is always on quality scan and security of handling – so you can rest assured that we’ll take care of your material and photo frames. We’ll scan your slides one by one by hand, returning your slides with full colour restored, including dust & scratch removal where appropriate.

Are We an Affordable Photo Scanning Service?

Yes! We are!. Our affordable photo scanning service gives total peace of mind that you’ve chosen the right scanning company. Each individual photo is dusted off and scanned individually by hand using high end studio scanners to result in images configured as a digital format.

Unlike most of our competitors, we do not automatically add automated dust and scratch removal software effects to the scans because although they sound great, on closer inspection, the software often gets things wrong and makes bad decisions resulting in poor scans on a flatbed scanner.

For example, in digitising original photographs taken straight after fire photos from Windsor Castle, our client, like all museums would never have allowed us to do this. For this reason, we approach jobs differently.

The goal is always the same – to reproduce the images as faithfully.

Using high optical density, we’ll detect the exact tonal range of the original, making sure the brightest and darkest areas of images are accurately reproduced to reveal impressive detail and dynamic range.

We also scan slides and negatives.

Digitalise Photos - Service, Examples & Customers

Rest assured that we take the issue of quality very seriously.

Why not view our service video and see samples?

We’ve invested heavily in our photo digitalisation equipment and have been in this business for over twenty years.

We were chosen to undertake cine film conversion work for the TV Production Company behind the BBC’s Repair Shop!

Other projects include digitalising Sir Richard Attenborough’s personal collection of images, converting early footage of Virgin Airways promotional films and digitalisation work relating to Windsor Castle, The Mary Rose and the late Queen Elizabeth II.

More Questions About this Format

A: 110 film is a compact cartridge-based film format introduced by Kodak in the 1970s for pocket-sized cameras. Each frame measures 13 × 17 mm, which is smaller than traditional 35 mm film. It was designed for convenience, with the film enclosed in a plastic cartridge that made loading and unloading much easier. While 110 film produced lower resolution than 35 mm, it was very popular for snapshots and travel photos. Although production declined in the early 2000s, many people still have 110 film negatives stored away — and converting them to digital is the best way to preserve those memories.

A: Yes, it’s still possible to have 110 film developed, but very few photo labs offer this service today. Most large retailers no longer process 110 film, so your best option is to use a specialist film development company or a professional digitisation service like Supaphoto. We can handle already-developed 110 film negatives and convert them into high-resolution digital images. If your 110 film hasn’t been developed yet, we recommend taking it to a traditional photo lab first — once it’s developed into negatives, we can digitise it safely and in excellent quality.

A: Because 110 film is now considered a vintage format, only a handful of specialist film labs in the UK still develop it. Look for independent photo labs that process 110 C-41 colour film or black-and-white variants. If you’re not sure where to go, you can contact Supaphoto — we can advise on trusted UK partners for 110 film development before we digitise the negatives. Once developed, simply post your 110 film negatives to us, and we’ll scan and convert them into high-quality digital files ready for viewing, printing, and sharing.

A: Scanning 110 film negatives at home is challenging because of their small size and the precision required to capture enough detail. You’ll need a flatbed film scanner that supports 110 film holders, a high-resolution setting (at least 4,000 dpi), and software that allows for colour correction and dust removal. Even then, results can vary, and it’s easy to introduce scratches or distortions. That’s why we recommend using a professional 110 film scanning service like Supaphoto. We use specialist equipment to scan every frame in high resolution, ensuring accurate colour reproduction and fine detail.

A: Yes, absolutely. At Supaphoto, we convert your 110 film negatives to digital images with professional-grade scanners. You can choose between different quality levels depending on your needs. Once digitised, your images are saved as JPEG or TIFF files on a USB stick, hard drive, or through a secure digital download link. Converting your 110 film to digital not only allows you to relive those moments again on modern devices, but also protects them from further ageing and physical damage.

A: Because 110 film frames are quite small, a higher scanning resolution produces significantly better results. We recommend scanning at 5,000 dpi or even 6,200 dpi for maximum sharpness and colour depth. Higher resolutions also allow for larger prints and easier image restoration if needed. At Supaphoto, our professional scanners capture every detail of your 110 film negatives while keeping colours natural and balanced, giving you crisp, high-quality digital images ready to share or print.

A: If your 110 film negatives are dusty, lightly cleaning them can help achieve a better scan, but you should never use household cleaning products or cloths. Simply keep them in protective sleeves to avoid fingerprints or scratches. At Supaphoto, we provide optional professional film cleaning before scanning — this removes dust and small particles safely and ensures the highest image clarity once digitised.

A: After your 110 film has been digitised, store the negatives in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and humidity. Keep them in acid-free archival sleeves to prevent deterioration. Even though you’ll now have high-quality digital copies, proper storage helps maintain the physical originals for years to come. With Supaphoto’s service, you’ll have the peace of mind that your treasured photos are preserved both physically and digitally.
